Jodie Alicia is a 22-year-old singer song writer originally from Bushey in Hertfordshire. Now based in London where she has just finished her final year in her popular music performance degree at the BIMM Institute. Inspired by her music loving grandmother, she started singing lessons from a very early age and went on to excel in all of her music modules in secondary school. Jodie released her first single a cover of Sasha Sloan’s “too sad to cry” which is available on Spotify. Jodie has been working with Kronik studios since Summer last year and has so far written 3 songs; ‘Walk Away’, ‘Lies to bed’, and ‘Lost your mind’’ They are a blend of pop, garage and house. Drawing inspiration from the writing styles of artists such as Lily Allen and Kate Nash, she seeks to reflect these influences in her own music.
